Antonio Fernando García Sevilla
Assistant Professor (UCM)
Computational linguist and engineer, Antonio’s interest lies in the combination of expert knowledge and machine learning. His main object of study is sign language, but he is interested in all approaches that shine light on the diversity, variety and flexibility of the human language capacity. He produces tools and datasets that can be found online under free and open licenses in places such as Github or Zenodo.

Alberto Díaz Esteban
Associate Professor (UCM)
His research focuses on natural language processing (automatic text summarization, processing textual content in medical records and regulatory documents, extracting interactions between biomedical entities), and developing chatbots to enhance information access. His recent research explores the digital processing of sign language and the application of deep learning algorithms to improve accessibility for people with visual impairments.

Covadonga Rodrigo San Juan
Permanent Lecturer (UNED)
Her research focuses on Human Computer Interaction (HCI), usability and accessibility, and the design of inclusive and ethical learning environments. She has developed application profiles, repositories, standards, recommender systems and mobile apps for autonomous access to quality OERs. Her recent research explores the design and development of accessible and multisensorial apps for wellbeing in the context of art and digital humanities.

Francisco Iniesto Carrasco
Research Fellow (UNED)
His research focuses on inclusive digital education and developing technologies to improve accessibility in cultural and educational environments, such as technologies in museums and virtual learning environments. His involvement in international projects has included improving inclusion, diversity, equity, and accessibility in open science. Currently, his research focuses on designing and developing accessible educational virtual assistants.

Daniel Guasch Murillo
